The House & Setting

Newland Hall is nearly 600 years old and Grade II Listed. It is steeped in history and the land is specifically listed in the Domesday Book of 1086. This makes it very stylish, interesting and full of character, ideal for weddings in Essex.

Exclusive Use

Unlike other wedding venues in Essex we guarantee you will have total exclusive use of the house, gardens and marquee for your wedding. Even our staff and suppliers will use a separate driveway, car park and entrance, ensuring 100% exclusivity.

Customisation

With over 19 years experience as a premier Essex Wedding Venue, we do not expect you to “fit in” to a standard wedding “package”. Every wedding is customised to match the specific requirements of our clients. Staffing

At Newlands all of our staff are of an extremely high standard and will be in uniform. Our banquet managers have extensive specialist experience in organising and running weddings.

Wedding receptions at Mulberry House are tailored to the needs of the bride and groom. During the speaches you may wish to play a pre-recorded message from a relative who lives abroad and cannot be there in person. Later in the evening the Mulberry Suite can be converted to host a live band or disco with a dance floor. Drinks can be served from the adjoining bar.

Braxted Park Release New Video - A Wedding Day in 2 mins

In June 2012 Josh Lee recorded the elegant wedding of Katie and Mike that took place at Braxted Park in Great Braxted, Essex.

Josh has captured the work and effort that is put in by the staff at Braxted Park prior to each and every wedding that it hosts, from the initial set up of the venue to looking after the guests during the ceremony and reception.

The video also captures the venue in all its glory, showing the different areas of the main house and estate, showcasing what a bride, groom and their guests can expect if they were to get married at Braxted Park. From getting ready in the bridal suite to the ceremony itself and of course the celebrations afterwards.
