Based near Colchester, we have been operating in the Essex area as Wedding Videographers for the past 20 years. Moving with the times and new technology including High Definition Blu-Ray DVD.

We also film many Barmitzvahs and Batmitzvahs

We have worked along side most of the local photographers and at many venues in Essex, Suffolk and beyond.

Our beautiful Lincoln Suite and Wildberry Restaurant are both perfect choices for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies up to 90 guests. The Lincoln Suite can also accommodate 40 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast and up to 60 standing for an evening buffet reception. It is conveniently located within the main hotel next to our stunning bar.

Alternatively our exclusive Courtyard Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for larger ceremonies. It is situated in a large and beautiful building separate to the main hotel and has its own private bar. It can cater for 120 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast and up to 150 standing for an evening buffet reception.

Location

The Rivenhall Hotel is located at the heart of Essex, just off the busy A12 trunk road midway between Chelmsford and Colchester where it by-passes the small town of Witham. Its strategic location means that the hotel is just a 20 minute drive to the M25 and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport. There are fast and frequent rail services to London’s Liverpool Street Station and the hotel has easy links to the Channel Ports and Haven Ports.

From Chelmsford
Proceed on the A12 Northbound. Pass two signs for Witham, take the next exit signposted for Silver End/ Great Braxted which is immediately after the Fox Inn. Turn right at the ‘T’ junction, go under the bridge and take the first right and the hotel is on your right.

From the M25
Exit at Junction 28 and follow the signs for Chelmsford. Proceed on the A12 Northbound. Pass two signs for Witham, take the next exit signposted for Silver End/ Great Braxted which is immediately after the Fox Inn. Turn right at the ‘T’ junction, go under the bridge and take the first right and the hotel is on your right.

From Colchester and the North
Proceed along the A12 Southbound. Take the left exit signposted for Silver End/ Great Braxted immediately after the BP Garage. The hotel is on your left hand side.

Satellite Navigation
We recommend you use the address Henry Dixon Road, Rivenhall End (CM8 3HR) to locate the hotel via Satellite Navigation and proceed via brown signposts for the hotel.
